By now, most of us have heard the story about Donna Hansbrough, a former Lowe’s employee who was physically assaulted while trying to prevent 3️⃣ shoplifters from making off with over $2,000 in merchandise; and if that wasn’t enough, she was terminated from her job for doing so. 😠 One may wonder how such insanity is now allowed to rule and reign, but stories like these keep emerging, and Lowe’s is just the latest corporation whose minds have been warped by the sign of the times. Acts of theft and outright criminality such as these seem to be not only permitted and allowed but even invited and encouraged. Knowing nothing will be done, criminals are emboldened, because they know (as we all do) that there will be no penalties, no punishments, no retributions, no repercussions and no consequences of any kind for their actions. Furthermore, any “do-gooder” who may wish to step up and step in to intervene will think twice next time before doing so.
Why stop a shoplifter (or any crime for that matter) when you’re the one who will be criminalized? Cops👮♂️ 🚔 will make fewer arrests because criminals are all-too-easily released nowadays in a society that seems to elevate and applaud them. 👏 It’s a crazy day in age where insanity holds supremacy: where victims of crime are penalized while the criminals themselves are encouraged to break the law, entirely consequence-free. It’s just the latest example of reparations in action and redistribution in real time that seem to be a part of some greater masterplan. So when merchandise gets stolen, prices go up ⬆ for the law-abiding, paying consumer. And so it goes, customers all over the country must pay more for products that other people get to steal. I, for one, will not walk into a Lowe’s anymore, and there are other home improvement stores to shop at if needed. It doesn’t matter to me that this happened in Rincon, Georgia (off of State Route 21) because if this is their collective, corporate mindset, then they’re too dumb to deserve my business.
