I was a Madonna fan back in the 1980’s and 1990’s, but I haven’t followed the Material Girl in over 20 years. Also, I’m not one to watch the Grammys or any kind of celebrity awards show 🏆 for that matter. That said, even I couldn’t miss the buzz and chatter about her new face. It seems she had one too many plastic surgeries. Old age comes for us all, but as the years pass, you can either look old or look weird. Because of the dust that got kicked up, I googled her recent images and TikTok postings; in them, I saw a woman still so desperate for attention. Perhaps she ought to remake the 1985 film Desperately Seeking Susan and title it Desperately Seeking Attention. Her need to be seen remains insatiable and unquenchable (even after all these years and all that fame) and there is nothing she is not willing to shake or show in order to gain the glances of perfect strangers. But it was when I saw her rolling around on the floor and drinking out of a doggy bowl that I decided I had seen enough. That’s not iconic: It’s pathetic. Here’s a near 65-year-old woman trying to be 25; it’s creepy (even deranged) and definitely not sexy or attractive. I admire how fiercely and fearlessly she lives, but no matter how many years have passed and how much time has gone by, she’s still that riotous and rambunctious teenage kid who will do practically anything just to get herself in front of a camera. 📽 🎥 📸
Worth an astonishing and astounding $850 million, 😲 Madonna is well on her way to becoming a billionaire. She rocketed to fame and fortune, became the Queen of Pop (the Queen of Shock), and dominated decades with her music 🎵 🎶 🎼 and presence, driven by a constant craving to be noticed and never forgotten. Known all over the world by just her first name, she is a provocateur and performer who has built her career and empire on pushing people’s buttons. It would serve her well and behoove her better to live off her legacy and bow out gracefully, because in this case, there is something to be said about quietly fading away. But instead, her TikTok videos make her less of an icon and more of an idiot. I suppose that’s why I outgrew her years ago and lost interest in her rebellious and defiant antics. She’s not making a statement: She’s just being stupid.
I suppose it goes to show: All the fame and fortune in the world still cannot buy peace of mind, genuine satisfaction and contentment, or serenity for the soul.

I prefer to remember her in better days, so I inserted 36 YouTube links to alternate and extended remixes of her music directly below. 👇 👇 👇 As you can see, I have a blue theme going on. 💙 💙 💙
